Frequently asked questions

What to know before your flooring project.

Still have a question? Call us at (941) 408-5979.

01Do you provide free flooring estimates?

Yes. Contact us to discuss your project and arrange an estimate. We can review the rooms, measurements, existing flooring, preparation needs, and the products you are considering.

02Do you sell flooring and provide installation?

Yes. Comfort Flooring is a Venice showroom and professional installation company. We help with product selection, estimating, ordering, preparation, and installation.

03What flooring products do you carry?

We offer luxury vinyl plank, porcelain and ceramic tile, hardwood, and engineered wood. Available collections, colors, and pricing can change, so we recommend comparing current samples in the showroom.

04Can you remove my existing flooring?

Yes. Flooring demolition can be included in the project. The exact method, preparation, and cost depend on the existing material, how it was installed, and the condition of the floor underneath.

05What happens if the subfloor needs repair?

We inspect accessible conditions and discuss any visible preparation needs before installation. If concealed damage or additional work is discovered after removal, we explain the condition and the recommended next step.

06How long will installation take?

Timing depends on the flooring type, square footage, demolition, preparation, room layout, and trim details. We discuss the expected schedule as part of the estimate.

07Do I need to move furniture before installation?

Furniture and access requirements vary by project. Tell us what will remain in the rooms so we can explain what needs to be moved and include any agreed furniture handling in the project plan.

08Can you work with condominium or HOA flooring requirements?

Yes. Please provide the association’s current flooring and sound-control requirements before products are ordered. We can review the proposed material and installation system against the documents you provide.

09Do you install flooring in new construction homes?

Yes. We work with homeowners, builders, and contractors on new construction and remodeling projects, including material selections, plan-based estimating, and installation.

10What areas do you serve?

We are based in Venice and serve nearby Southwest Florida communities. Contact us with the project address so we can confirm availability for your location.
